Paintings from Silvestri's figurative period, which meditate Jesus' parables in the Gospel. Here a sample of Marcello's iconographies representing the key symbols of the Christian tradition: the Good Shepherd, the Prodigal Son, the Sower, the Good Samaritan (which is central to Pope Francis' encyclical Fratelli Tutti), the Net cast into the sea, the Mustard Seed, the Seed sown in different soils. These artworks, produced during the 1980s-2000s and painted with a mixed gouache technique, are part of Silvestri's vast contemporary sacred art production and feature in publications and activities around faith, meditation and spirituality promoted by various Christian publishers internationally.
